Stay in Poland is pleasant

When you first arrive in Krakow, or Cracow, you’ll be surprised about the Vavel Castle, the central market and it’s souvenir gallery. The old jewish quarter and old synagogue is worthy. Nearby is Auschwitz and Birgenau, as well as the famous Salt Mines, which can be visited by tourist buses and takes a half day excursion departing from Krakow.

I arrived by train from Presov, Slovakia and went back to Budapest by train. But there are straight flights from many European destinations, much more trains from Germany and Austria. Good hotels and restaurants, mainly in front of the old market. Lots of bars plenty with dozens of different beers. This is a must, you have to go there. Lots of beautiful old carriages wait you for a ride. Beautiful churches and nightlife make the city attractive. You’ll find lots of tourists in town, English and German is spoken everywhere..

A visit to Vavel Castle is a must too. If you want to rent a car, or take trams, or buses…it’s up to you. The nicest is to walk through, because before the Castle you find lots of galleries, medieval reminiscences and mainly older architectural buildings in town. There is a huge wall of paintings near the Castle. To use credit cards is ok. But you need to exchange for local money. But prices are cheap and you find marvelous crystals, souvenirs. What you really need is good cameras, memory cards, camcorder to register everything. Even if you thing….I take all in my heart and mind….you’ll get surprised back home how pleasant it is watching pictures or movie records.

Check the links down. Hotels and Hostels you can book through Internet if you want and prices are good. All are payable by credit cards. The most accepted are Visa, Master Card and American Express.
